Well, for example, if I had school today, I probably wouldn't be able to go. Thankfully, it is Saturday, and I have one more day to get better, but I don't feel any better than I did on Thursday when it started. And I really don't want to miss our last tennis practice, which is on Monday. | ||||||

The Spurs suck.
Pistons are of course my team, and all other Detroit area teams. BTW, about the soccer. I am a big fan of international soccer. My favorite team is probably Liverpool. I have been following the UEFA Champions League which is going on right now. Suprising how poor Barcelona has been looking. |

I know enough about English football to know that Dave's favorite team, Tottenham is also Spurs, like the San Antonio NBA team. I like Manchester United and DC United in soccer. USC is pretty good too, but the Cal Bears are my 100% favorite.
For those of you in school, what courses are you taking? I'm in English Honors, Latin I, Orchestra, World History I, Public Speaking, Geometry Honors, and Physics Honors. Physics is KILLING me!!!

Lucky, you have Chem. I am absolutely shocked that Geo is easier than Physics. Gosh, all the sig figs and etc. of physics are driving me nuts! It's not helped by the fact that our teacher also teaches AP Physics C and Modern Physics, so I don't understand half of what he's saying plus he goes incredibly fast through the material. I would have been in Spanish 3 this year, but I dropped the class and take Latin now. | ||||||

I really wanted to take that instead of AP Bio, i am really scared of that class, i absolutely sucked at normal Biology last year. U.S. History is totally fun, it's like the best class ever, my teacher is hilarious and addicted to caffine, and i have him first period, it is so fun he is the reason i am a bucheyes fan. I took spanish really late obviously, i'm a retard in geometry and i'm okay at everything else | ||||||

Being a freshman, I obviously can't take any AP classes. I really want to take AP Euro History next year, but I need straight A's for both English and World History. The straight A's through W.H. are no prob, but it's English. I can get an A-, but that's not enough to get into AP Euro. I wish I could take Bio this year. It's my favorite form of science, followed by Chem. | ||||||

Well, Chem is totally fun, i actually held something in my hands that could kill me if i was exposed to it (contained of course), pretty cool. Odd, i'm supposed to be in W.H. but the transfered me into USH. hopefully i Get into APUSH next year. | ||||||

Calculus AB and Calculus BC. From what I have heard, precalc is difficult, so I am soaking in the easy Geo while I can.

See we have a calc class but it is AP and you can only take it as a senior. I didnt want to take it because I am going to have to take it in college so I wanted to learn the Precalc stuff so I can do well in college.
I took Geometry as a Freshmen, Adv Algebra as a Sophmore (required), Functions, Stats, and Triginometry as a Junior (required). |

Does anyone have an A-B block schedule in HS? Or do you even know what it is? We take the same classes for the entire school year instead of a semester. We have A-day and B-day schedules. Some classes are semester long but you only get half credit for those.

Wow, that's so strict. Are there severe punishments for hugging? At my school, some people just ignore the don't change in the hallways rule, and they usually get away with it.... Wow, hugging doesn't have to be in a sexual connotation. Like, I'm sure some teachers would hug parents if they haven't seen them for a long time or if they received a gift....

Of course nobody listens, so there are hugs in the hallway anyway, when a teacher isn't there. But I remember these juniors got detention for kissing. I'm sorry, but that is somewhat hilarious, yet odd.

Well, my school's a boy school, so... if someone did that, the teachers wouldn't encourage it, but there would definitely be some talk within the school. But a detention for kissing? I guess I can see why they did get a detention....
