What's up with ESPN this morning? Im trying to enjoy watching a nice match of my future wife Maria Sharapova and its lagging. Its like the Live feed from ESPN 2 is behind. Because if you watched youll hear them hit the ball before it hit the racquet and you will hear people talk before their lips moved. What the heck?

Those are always good. Anyway can anyone tell me what half of the draw is Serena in? Is she in Henin's or Sharapova's. So is Vaidisova which half is she? And seeds?

Henin's...

JH is her next opponent if she can get through Safina, which I think she can. Allez Serena!

If Justine and Henin do meet, I think many will arouse the big 2004 (was it 2004?) SF controversy, with the whole "I didn't raise my hand" issue. It think it would, actually, make it Advantage-Serena; not to mention Henin has everything to lose.

That issue came up in the Sharapova vs Schnyder match. A shame that Schnyder couldn't win that one. Gosh Sharapova's grunts were annoying in that match. I wanted to shut her up so badly. And then yelling Come On! when the Patty made an error

Sharapova's grunting, yelling and fist pumping has gotten out of hand...she fist pumps after every point, has more to do with taunting than self encouragement....which is poor behavior...win with skill not with meaningless schemes to psyche out, anger or degrade your opponent.

Hahaha!!! Justin and Henin do meet all the time... in fact they are inseparable!!

Justine vs Serena is going to be a blockbuster. I'm picking Serena in 3. It's sucks that it is a quaterfinal and not a final or even semi

So, quarters are set:
Justine Henin v Serena Williams
Jelena Jankovic v Nicole Vaidisova
Svetlana Kuznetsova v Ana Ivanovic
Maria Sharapova v Anna Chakvetadze

Williams V Henin should be explosive...they are both playing with confidence.
I'm thinking Jankovic over Vaidisova and Ivanovic may have a breakthrough over Kuznetsova (who in the last few years has somehow slightly misses the expectations on her)
Sharapova is a toss-up....she really should be out, Shneider(sp?) just choked those last games to her.

Semis are set,
Henin v Jankovic
Sharapova v Ivanovic
Henin def Williams 6-3 6-4
Serena was really disappointing. Henin outplayed her in the first, but as soon as she got down a break in the second, Serena admitted defeat. She handed the last game to Henin.
Jankovic def Vaidisova 6-4 7-5
Jankovic played solid tennis again. Vaidisova made EU's at bad times, however. Janko had a little choke in the second, she let Vaidisova come back and give her a scare.
Ivanovic def Kuznetsova 6-0 3-6 6-1
Ivanovic was spectacular in the first and third. Kuznetsova made too many EU's in those sets, but Ivanovic was blasting winners and made a combined total of 4 EU's in the first and third combined.
Then I didn't see any of Sharapova's match.

Serena was flat, and played without her usual fire/focus/heart.
Too bad, cuz I was really looking forward to a battle.

Too bad, cuz I was really looking forward to a battle. | Not only that but she tried to play alot of slices, which she over did. Causing alot of errors and shots with no pace in the middle of the court for JH to tee off on.

That wouldn't be good, for Serena doesn't play on her own terms when she slices. The one point I watched (I had an exam) was the 'Point of the Day'... Henin seemed to be on her game and thinking really well.

JH was on her game. But it helps when Serena is thinking badly on court

I'm gonna pull for Jankovic & Ivanovic to break through...
Jankovic's Slam breakthrough should have come at last year's U.S. Open. She really had Henin on the ropes in that semi. I think if she's up for it this time, she can reach the finals.
Ivanovic, may have an easier road to the finals. Sharapova is running so hot and cold in this tournament; her shoulder is bothering her, her serve weaker (and very attachable)....
On the other hand, my gut feelins is if Jankovic can't take out Henin, then Justine is on her way to another Roland Garros title.

Justine Henin and Ana Ivanovic will meet in the final. Both gave beatdowns to their opponents.
Henin def Jankovic 6-2 6-2
Ivanovic def Sharapova 6-2 6-1

Wow, both were so one-sided. Ivanovic, I think, has a chance here. I still think Henin will win, but I guess we'll see.

Anna just has to control her nerves, and act like she's been there before.
Every player has nerves, some feel them at the begining of the final and champions feel them while they serve for the match.

Yep! She stared with a break and was up 40-0 on her serve. Ana had 3 chances to go 2-0. then she collapsed. Justine managed to break in that second game and went on to rout 6-1 6-2. Ana did not even held any serve until the second set.
