For me, the biggest shock was PSALT's and my making it, while stevos is a full 300/400 points off the mark. There are also a few players here and there who did better/worse than expected (stevos, J-Man, Bizet, etc.). |

Just want to point something out that is very interesting. Vanessa Child will not end the year #1 no matter what. But even more interesting: N_E_A will end the year ranked #1 if he reaches the final.
No pressure of course .

Wow!!!! Massive news. I will end the year ranked as number one if I reach the Final? That is ludicrous and underserved...part of me hopes I do it, of course, but really I would not be the deserved number 1. I haven't even reached a Grand Slam Final yet and even if I do reach the Final I won't have met the top two players there, I really want to win this event but I am not sure how much I want to end the year as number 1.... | ||||||||||||||

Yes. You have yet to reach a final. Still, you have been amazingly consistent since the USO last season. I find it rather humerous that we both have been the top 2 members for so long. You, always consistent, then me with my Slam finals and strange first round losses. I do think we deserve to meet in the final. What I mean is our 'rivalry' is talked about often, yet we have not played a 'big' match against each other. We have met only once in a Slam (RG Season 2), and I can't remember a Tier I meeting between us. Most of our meetings come early in events, when one of us isn't at their best. |

Actually at least twice in a Slam: RG S2 RG S3 One a piece. Remember, I am something of an expert in member head to heads, I am up to day 30 right now (Gonzalez Summer Stars) so it might not be too long till I finish:) It is quite interesting to do actually! Woot! Anyway, I find it remarkable too but I find it even more remarkable how long I have been the top member, pretty much the whole of the time bar here and there moments. I had that awful slump in S3 but apart from that I have been the top ranked member. It would be good if we met in the Final but I don't deserve the number 1 at all...! I am definitely third best, but just third. I have beaten everyone on tour this year, and played better than them, except V and Y; so those two should be ahead of me. |

Jenna and Doublea. Trinky has sucked for a while now. I beat her 6-4 6-4 in the worst slump of my career. I shudder to think what Doublea and Jenna will do to her. NEA is the top seed from Group A for sure. I am interested why you pick Dave over myself though. I'm not saying it won't happen, I actually think it will. Still, the H2H is even, but I am by far the better indoor player. Indoor hard is quickly becoming my premier surface. |

Phew! No internet and no cable in my house since Sunday early afternoon. Cox cable sucks!... btw this also meant no house phone either. We got TV back this afternoon but internet is still down. Then I see my dad on his laptop and I am like  and then I find out that he can use his cell phone internet over bluetooth to the laptop... so here I am using T-mobile internet! ..as far as Cox ... don't know when they will fix it, they said they are working on it!...'nough rant about internet!
I was SO suprised about Yoda and Child... but then this is good for the members with 5 in the YEC. Congrats NEA, PSALT, Dave, Doublea and J-man!!
NEA there is no pressure to finish No1 right?

Here is my scenario: NEA/PSALT Doublea/J-Man NEA vs. Jman and NEA thinks that No1 is in the bag....but J-Man prevails and NEA is yet left without a Final in a big event. PSALT beats Doublea PSALT beats J-Man in the Final and Yoda finishes as the year as No 1 |

if J-man makes the final, I don't see anyone stopping him. in fact the only way I see anyone stopping him from the semi's onward is if NEA, Dave or myself meet him and are playing great. If hell freezes over and Strog someone gets the group a top seed and plays J-man, the title is his. in short, the three members in group A better hope J-man doesn't get through.

WOW! I predicted the final 4 and the semifinals! I also predicted PSALT's victory, except I thought he would face JMan in the final.
