Day 43 TournamentsI got Jennacourt in the first round, but if I get by her I think I may be able to make a run to the finals. Dave could possibly play Phobe in the QF, which could be the biggest match of the year.

Well, that's obviously the match to watch.... I can have a showdown with N_E_A in the quarterfinals. Dave will have it tough, considering he's playing crowd favourite stevos in the first round. They're hoping for a stevos-x.doublea final, and I hope we don't disappoint.

Once again, my indoor season let me down... I was leading in terms of member points earned within this season until the indoor season started....

Congrats PSALT, NEA and Dave! Three members in the YEC is great! I can't believe Mollusk won a tier 2.
I also just looked at the rankings thoughroughly for the first time in a while and did anyone else notice how low Ying-Chang and Adelaide are ranked? Ying-Chang's practically out of the top 30! She was a top 10 player less than a year ago!

Yes, Ying-Chang has been too busy arguing with other players to do well on the court. Adelaid's just an effect of the rise of the members....

That is hilarious. Dave has been offered a path through even though he has the lower ranking! Edelstein and Tricatrina? I have been walking all over the two of them the last few meetings. Bizet I have never, ever beaten and Jennacourt might be a struggle. PSALT will beat me. Group A is so much harder than B?!

There was me thinking I was hard done by! Jennacourt and Bizet have done nothing recently. I have Child and Edelstein! Anyway, I think in terms of the year, I have had a better year than you overall, and my ranking should be higher anyway....

NEA and I could very well beat Jennacourt. Bizet however will be a huge struggle, he is the two time defending champion, on one of his favorite surfaces.
You however will safely secure the No.2 spot in Group B, Trinky is 1-5 lifetime here, and Edelstein has played about 1 event since the USO.

Jbors' titles will be a pain for him to defend. look at Leftys or J-man, they dominated Tier IV's last season and both had ranking fallouts when it came time to defend them

My point is dav I would 90% likely beat Edelstein and Tricatrina.
Besides, your year "has been better" than mine, yet I am higher in the rankings. Also, my year has been absolutely disastrous - I have done nothing and still managed to finish higher than you, that cannot be too good for you now can it?

I'm not sure who had the better year. Dave was the better one on the hardcourts in first of the year, he also had a better clay season. NEA was better on grass, Dave was slightly better during the USO Series. NEA's indoor record however, dwarfs Dave's by comparisen.
Not to toot my own horn, but I had the best season of the members by a mile.

Amen to that. I'm looking forward to next season already! Nothing to lose except for that Tier I, and even if I lose that, I should rack up enough points from other tourneys to equal that.

I would say this was the worst year yet for members, given the fact that we were expected to oust the computer players, j-man and PSALT had some good results in Grand Slams, other than that it was really just slim pickings!
Next season I have pretty much no points to defend!

Well, it was certainily the best season for me. Two semifinals and two quarterfinals at the Grand Slams and a jump for the mid-20s to the Top 10 is something to be happy about, although I'm still fuming at my showing in the indoor season.

Funny, that is the only part of the season I am pleased with. Grass was ok. Clay was the worst thing I have ever seen by one single member on this game. Hard was also largely atrocious.

Funny, that is the only part of the season I am pleased with. Grass was ok. Clay was the worst thing I have ever seen by one single member on this game. Hard was also largely atrocious. |
My season was very similar to yours NEA. Clay sucked. Grass was normal. Hard was terrible compared to last year. Carpet was my favorite. SF's at 2 Tier I's, final at a Tier II.

Well my season was alright. I won the FO so that was great. But I played like crap for most of the second half of the season before capturing a title a few days ago. I need to pick it up taek some points and give to my mental and movement

Oh, and I love when I shutup jbors like that. Good match Dave 7-5 7-6 were the last 2 sets I think? We always have good ones.
And you guys can thank me later for kicking out Phobe in the quarters, but leftys and mollusk ruined the juiciest final of the season, me vs Xdoublea, that would've been so good.
Im happy with my last couple of tournaments, final and semis.
Congrats to all three of you members who made the YEC, that is exciting, but I have to agree this year has been sketchy for members, besides the FO. Next year will be huge, no doubt.
And NEA, you cleaned jbors' clock in that one preview, hallelujah. That was too funny!
