Day 11 - X and Benchie in the Final

Its currently in the third set, and I never realized we didnt have a thread for today, good luck both.

Huge win for benchwarmer over jbors, and xdoublea is finally finding his form!

Plus we have indonesia coming up.
stevos14

Well, x won it 6-3 4-6 6-3! Finally some good luck, and great job Bench Very Happy

I guess you were right to look forward to clay eh xdoublea? (I never know whether to say x, or xdoublea Laughing)
Agassi2000

Good job doublea and Benchie! Its NEA v. Aztec in indonesia for the final.

NEA wins Indonesia Surprised
Congrats, and good win over me in the semis, I was hoping for a little bit tougher of a match.

Looks like this might not be such a bad season after all eh Wink

It will, don't worry, the word is mediocre! Just wait for the almighty Tier I claycourt those are the tournaments I SHOULD be winning, yet I will falter! I am pleased with this though!!

you must as your out of shape player pudges around after balls, you should tell him to lay off the fudge. Wink

I find it interesting that almost all of the original players (besides maybe Agassi) are all very capable on clay. Then the newer players (besides Stevos) are all so slow.

I think I am directly in between the newer and older, and I wanted to be more like you guys, so I kind of took after your strategy a bit more. Everyone put a lot into mental and movement, so I did as well to keep up, I think jbors was the big shifter though.
jbors47

Yeah I went with the big groundies.

Its funny you should say that I am a fat slob and out of shape, because in real life I am exactly opposite, as most (serious) tennis players are.

lol. I just think it's funny how it all worked out. The first generation, the faster, able to keep the rallies going. Then there's the oddball Stevos who is inbetween. Then the younger players who are more aggressive and have very good volleys as a general rule (I make fun of Benchwarmer with his volleys. From the second half of Season 3 until now 95% of his training was 'Hey PSALT, I want to fix up my volleys today).
