BUYING NEW RACQUET

I currently have a Head i.radical OS and am having a whole lot of trouble trying to choose a new one. my top choices are Yonex RDS 001, Head Liquidmetal and Flexpoint radical and instinct, Wilson N61 95 and prince diablo. if u have suggestions please feel free to inform me.
J-man

The Yonex could be a big adjustment. But the Instinct looks pretty good. You should defentily try that one out
Benchwarmer1

I have the instinct, and i LOVE it, but i got one question, what is wrong with the i.radical?
Intelligence

I love the i.radical, but I have had it for a while and it is really chipped and the paints coming off.

Which instinct? flexpoint? coz i have tried it out n i liked it realy well
Benchwarmer1

i have the liquidmetal version, and it plays well, for a $70-80 racquet. but if you don't have a budget, go for the FXP version
Intelligence

Ok, thanks for the advice. I will probably get one of the instincts but I was just wondering what strings to go with it. Is Prince Duraflex a good choice(I currently have that)? Do u have any ideas?
J-man

Calling X.doublea
luvrboi

The instinct is nice but I think you should stick to a radical. Think of it this way you will be upgrading from the radical if you buy the flexpoint version of it. That is why I think you try the FXP radical.
x.doublea

Intelligence, I highly recommend both the Radical and the Instincts to you...you've got to try both to see which one you like more. Since you like the i.Radical OS, I have a feeling you would like the Flexpoint Radical over the Instinct....
jbors47

I highly recommend the Diablo to you. I do not recommend Prince Duraflex strings though. Im more of a fan of Wilson strings and Luxilon.
x.doublea

I think the Diablo's a big jump from the Radical though...unless Intelligence likes it of course....
J-man

I also thought the same thing. I would look at the Insticts as I posted up above
Intelligence

Thanks, I will go demo the Flexpoint Instinct and Radical.
Benchwarmer1

just for kicks, also try the LM version of those (you might just like them better)
x.doublea

Yes, a lot of people prefer the LM's over the Flex Points for some reason...
Intelligence

While at the store, I saw the o3 Hybrid Hornet and Shark. Are they a good shot from an i.radical?
x.doublea

THe Hornet is way different from the Radical. The Shark's midplus version is similar in terms of weight, but the head size is different and the string pattern is different, so it would play significantly different.
luvrboi

Demo the LM version and the FXP version to compare. But all FXP are automatically equipped with LM tech already so like I said its a huge upgrade with the FXP.
x.doublea

It's just some people don't like the feel the Flexpoints add....
J-man

Haha. Just ask most pro players With Flexpoints (*paintjobs*)
x.doublea

Yes. Well, a lot of them didn't even bother to get Flexpoint paint jobs, so they just stuck with the LM ones...a few did switch though....
J-man

Those guys are missing out on the money Laughing Razz
x.doublea

Yes, sort of like how Sampras never got paid the top dollar by Wilson because he refused to use a paint job....
J-man

Which to tell you the truth is kind of nice.
x.doublea

Yes. Well, apparently, he played like a match with a paint job, and claimed that the paint made a difference in the balance, hence making him feel uncomfortable. That's someone who knows what he wants....
