Thats all you're going to say PSALT?
My god, Serena, you are so so so amazing.
I am so glad I declared fandom for her again at Hobart. That was just simply all heart and guts. Once again, her vs. Sharapova in the final, would be the most amazing matchup in the world. I'm drooling.
Next round will be really tough for Serena, against Vaidisova, but the semis are NOT a stage at which the williams sisters lose. Very very rarely.
In fact, I just don't see who could heart her out of the tournament from now on.

I'm picking Vaidisova to make the final, but Serena's run is an achievement in itself.
Shame on Peer for cracking....

Roddick was extremely convincing with a 6-2 6-2 6-2 win over Fish.

Serena did not play that good tonite. She made too many errors. Yet she had heart and determination! That's what gave her the win.
On the other hand Peer played better, but she has a major weakness in her serve. She needs to improve her serve in order to make the top 5. She also played with determination tonite which resulted in a very good match. I enjoyed every bit of it!!

I couldn't stay up for the Roddick match, so I'm glad he played well. Serena's match was very interesting. Peer definately showed determination and especially in the first set reminded me of Nadal in terms of the feisty behavior. Overall, Serena played a terrible match compared to previous rounds. She never seemed to be able to get her momentum and had a negative attitude for much of it. However, she showed why she is the greatest champion on the tour today by digging in deep when it mattered.

What an amazing run from Serena. I think she has proven herself to be the best competitor of all time behind Monica Seles. Absolutely incredible!
I have a feeling Vaidisova will win the SF, but this is where Serena usually goes up a level. In singles, she is 9-2 in Slam SF, and 7-2 in Finals.
Her only losses in SF were to Venus at Wimbledon 2000, and JHH at French Open 2003 (that match). Her only losses in finals came to Venus at US Open 2001, and Sharapova at Wimbledon 2004. She is now within sight of her 5th Australian Open title, 3rd in singles.
