Notable sponsorship change... Nasdaq-100 Open has reentered the Ericsson family, now being the Sony Ericsson Open.
Why they don't extend the grass-court warm up season to more than two weeks should be puzzling to anyone who notices that portion of the season....

I'm glad. I never liked it being the Nasdaq-100.....
I don't understand either. Wimbledon is the most prestigious event in tennis, yet neither the WTA nor the ATP care about grass whatsoever.

I like the new name a lot, although it seems to change an awful lot.
I can't wait for that tournament, probably my favourite tournament to watch thats not a grand slam, many good matches and a lot of prestige.
Plus its at a great time for me to watch at night, and womens matches get played

Everything is getting the name "Sony Ericsson" plastered all over though... especially in tennis.
