AGASSI might help Gilbert in training Andy Murray in future
Very interesting development in the making:
AGASSI'S ANIMAL CHARM
BRAD GILBERT is to bring in Andre Agassi to coach Andy Murray to teach k the Scottish teenager to "train like an animal".
Gilbert was appointed by the LTA last week to turn the promising Murray into a world-class performer.
He guided Agassi to six grand slam titles between 1994 and 2002, and the former Wimbledon champion described Gilbert as "the greatest coach of all time".
Gilbert then steered Andy Roddick to the 2003 US Open title but split six months later before Roddick's fortunes took a turn for the worse.
Murray, 19, has been without a coach since splitting with Mark Petchey last year, and his results this season have been patchy. Gilbert said: "I believe I can persuade Andre Agassi to come along and help Andy within the next couple of weeks.
"I would like Andy to practise alongside Andre so he can see first hand how hard he still works. If there is one thing Andy might have taken from Andre's career it would be his work ethic - he will need to train like an animal."
Gilbert is also looking at introducing a specialist fitness coach to help Murray bulk up and increase the power in his serve.

THis is good news. Murray needs to start catching up and get into a good regiment if he wants to start taking on the likes of Monfils, Nadal, Novak D ect
This could really motivate Murray to practice hard (I hope)

If this is true, there's no reason why Murray won't be able to reap a lot of benefits working out with Agassi and Gilbert. A lot of experience between those two. Murray has the dream coaching set up. Now he justs has to put in the leg work and the results should follow in the coming yrs.

Yes. And with a 'special fitness trainer' to come in to make him stronger (perhaps Gil?), who knows where Murray can go in the future.
