My internet's taking impossibly long to load, so I haven't seen the entire video, but I love his Agassi imipersenation of the grunt.

That was pretty funny, he did the Agassi walk.

The Sharapova immitation was really funny...

Haha! That was surprisingly funny...I loved the Agassi one and the Sharapova.

It's a bit too bad Andy doesn't play tennis better. He always brings a laugh and has interesting interviews. He is sometimes very funny oncourt during his matches. Too bad we don't see more of him these days.

Andy has one of the best personalities in tennis, he is wonderful for promoting the sport. it is quite sad that he isn't a better player though, if he was he would probably be the biggest name in tennis! a great player that women think is good looking, he is (or at least seems like he is) a fun guy. he could have been a marketing giant in tennis and in sports in general.

Part of the reason why he is a sponsor's dream

He's the closet thing to an Agassi...Agassi's a bit, well, better though. If Roddick can have more success, it might be able to bring even more fans to the game....

Fan: Can you do Roger?
A-rod: I'm so sick of him

Yes, that was funny. Was the beginning clip of an Agassi grunt? Because I took it that way. That was really funny....

Make that 50 times the player Roddick ever will be and I agree.

Yes, Agassi is way better than Roddick. You can't be too smart if you fire Gilbert outright, for any reason...Agassi never fired Gilbert, it was a mutual parting because Agassi knew Gilbert didn't spend any time with his family...Roddick just fired him. I don't think his brother has filled the void. But, Roddick does attract people to the game....

I don't think Roddick's Dad and Gilbert were getting along. If there's trouble in the family with a coach I think it'a a smart reason to let go of a coach. Unless you want to endanger your relationship with your father
|
x.doublea
|
I did read that, but still, I think Roddick should be in control of these affairs. It's his career, not his father's....
|
J-man
|
Very true. But Roddick did not want to endanger his relationship with his father an important person in his life.

His father didn't seem to settle for anything...just read that his father wasn't pleased with Gilbert after winning the US Open... that's when it goes too far. The relationship between Roddick and his Roddick is certainly an important one; however, the father has to give some leeway to the son's coach who transformed the son's career. I guess Roddick choseto just fire Gilbert instead of talking to his father about the situation....

Damn you! I was just about to do that, so funny! We should all blame Roddick's demise on that stupid "mojo" fiasco, ever since then his mojo has really disapeared.

I feel a bit bad that my little typo is being trampled on...
I think the 'mojo' fiasco has nothing to do with it....

I do think Roddick was going downhill before that. It might have sppeded it up but I don't think it is the biggest factor. That thing really just made him look like an *ss.

You could kind of have forseen it because he had a few early losses to odd players during the USO Series. Like he would get to the final one week and then lose first round in another.

He wrote in his book that he really wanted to coach someone new, and he got it. I'm sure he's going to quit his commentating job for now....

yes, Murray Mound, Henman Hill, does Rudeski have a version?

I think it's because his passion is coaching. Like, that's what he was made for, and that's what he enjoys doing. Commentating is a different story....

hopefully it will always be Henman Hill! Rudeski Ridge just sounds stupid, and Murray has yet to do enough to get a hill named after him.

Yeah I think Henman deserves it until he chooses to retire. Rusedski Ridge sounds silly but he has been great for British tennis aswell, just a bit overshadowed by Henman in recent years. Murray is the only one that looks to follow them, I just hope Bogdanovic will break through soon.

Sorry for being a bit unclear. I meant he just wanted to coach someone. This is from I've got your back:
I also would very much like to get my own talk show on one of the local San Francisco-Oakland radio stations, and I am talking with them about this, as well. You know, the Raiders are coming back!
But what I'd really like to do is coach another player.
We'll see.

Henman has surely overshadowned Rusedski. Like, I have never heard of 'Rusedsk Ridge' being mentioned on television, but Henman Hill is like expected tennis vocabulary... do they still refer to it as Henman Hill, or is it already Murray Mount (is it Murray Mount?)?

Yes I think he is 22.
Rusedski Ridge is just something used for when he is playing. The official name for the hill is Henman Hill and will probably change to Murray Mound. But, they like to make up names like Rusedski Ridge
|
Not_Even_Amateur
|
It is rapidly becoming Murray Mound/t though, they asked people this Wimbledon who were sat on it what they would like it to be called and 90% of them said name it after Murray. It has pretty much changed and, if not, will have done by next years Wimbledon.
