the question to the answer the 200th ranked male tennis player who beat Serena (6-1) and Venus Williams (6-2) back to back on a practice court at the 1998 Aussie Open while drinking a pint of ale/beer, eating a sandwich, and smoking during the change overs.
I heard a sports radio guy suggest that Venus and Serena could beat many of the top male tennis players the other day....it always reminds me of Karsten, really its the most remarkable thing I remember about his tennis career.
When will this debate ever end...notice that Steffi Graf was never dumb enough to engage herself in this nonsense...and she probably could have taken more than a few of the Male players.

I remember ESPN's Aussie Open coverage from '98 showing parts of the match.

1. every time the subject comes up, the latest being John McEnroe's chances against the Williams sisters I remember this match-up.
2. I'm a Historian/Associate Prof. If I didn't have a bunch of seamingly useless facts running around my mind I wouldn't be a very good teacher now would I?
