ITF: Congratulations jbors47 on your run to the US Open semifinals! Who would have thought you would have made it this far, considering you went 0-18 last year in match play. How does it feel to do this in your home country?
jbors47: This is the best feeling in the world. I said at the beginning of the season that the US Open would be my coming out party, and I kept true to my statement. I really couldn't have done this without my fans though. The way the hometown fans react to one of their own doing great really boosts your confidence and makes you strive to win even more.
ITF: What are your remaining goals for the season?
jbors47: I am playing in several tournaments and I hope to win as much as possible. I really want to earn more points and move up the rankings and better my chance at making it into the top 10 next year.
