A change will shortly be made to the WTA Player List due to severe difficulty in picking a team. Dav and I will be working on lowering the prices of some/all of the players to make it easier (similar to the ATP) to pick a decent team. I have a plan in my head and if everything works out then this is how things will work:
Things will continue as normal until Sunday, if there is no play at Wimbledon (if there is play then AFTER it finishes), you will then pick a new team (or keep it the same...up to you) of 5 WTA (ATP will not change at all) to go into the second week. This isn't too different anyway, as you would still be getting three substitutes. The only difference this time is that, because you have chance to pick a new team, you will only get 1 substitute each for the second week of Wimbledon...PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU WILL STILL HAVE 3 SUBS FOR THE ATP, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING CHANGES FOR THE ATP. Also, on a completely different note, just to let you know that the scoring for Dream Team Tennis will work as follows:
If a player in your team reaches, lets say for example, the 4th Round of Wimbledon they IMMEDIATELY get the 5 points. If you swap them, they still keep the 5 points. And so on. If they reach the Semi-Final they get those points aswell UNTIL you drop them. So, basically, you get the points as your players reach the stages, NOT at the end of the tournament. This is FAR better as far as subs are concerned.
For example, dav6789 will get the points tonight for Henin reaching the fourth round! Congrats to him. Good luck everyone, hopefully dav and I will have this list sorted by Sunday then you can get your new teams in. If you don't wish to change (or don't have the time) your team will just remain the same and you will get three subs...don't worry, all this info will be displayed on the "WTA Team Data and Points" topic! Thanks.
