YEC starts on Tuesday. If everybody is relatively healthy, it should be pretty exciting. Thoughts?

There will be a 3-way tie in the second group. One player will win all his matches in straight sets and the other three will split 3-set matches. So positions 2, 3 and 4 will finish at 1-2 matches and 2-3 sets!!! Then WTA is going to have to decide on a tie breaking policy!!!
Sound familiar??

two very good groups. Yellow looks to be more interesting though. I see Mauresmo and Henin coming out of that one, and Sharapova and Kuznetsova out of the other. _________________
For Yellow Group, I think everyone's looking forward to Justine Henin-Hardenne v Amelie Mauresmo. Nadia Petrova is also on a very run of form. Martina Hingis has done very well to qualify aswell, and I hope she doesn't look out of place here.
For the Red Group, Maria Sharapova and Kim Clijsters are the favourites IMO, but Svetlana Kuznetsova and Elena Dementieva can beat them aswell. I think this group will have some very good matches.
I want Martina Hingis to win this tournament!
I think Mauresmo, JHH, Sharapova and Clijsters will go through though. But that is a very vague idea, anything can happen.
Both will have great matchups, and I have no idea who will come through, I'm not even sure of Sharapova, because if Kuznetsova is on form and Clijsters plays well, Maria might have a big challenge.
JHH-Mauresmo Cant wait.
And any hingis match will be great, just to see if she can rock with the big guns.
This is going to be freakin' awesome. I'm off Tuesday (thank you!!) so I will be able to watch it. In the Red group though I'm picking Elena Dementieva and Maria Sharapova _________________
I'm looking very forward to this! So exciting! Picks are going to be incredibly hard for this. I'm hoping for a Mauresmo, JHH, Sharapova, Clijsters SF lineup. That would be very exciting. But with the other 4, who knows?
