*this information relates only to the 1st and 3rd sets of the PC Players! It is designed to help you to play and defeat the PC Players, they combine a variety of styles and some are obviously better than others.

Serena Williams:

Serena is either hit or miss right the way throughout the set. She is extremely difficult to break and you may be better off concentrating on your own serve, where she is slightly weaker. She will go for an early victory sometimes but if you can get her to the end of the set then she might well tire!

Venus Williams:

Venus will come out all guns blazing on both serve and return. She looks to kill you off early and have an easy match, she loses focus later on in the set, if you can outlast her with a couple of good games early on then the match should be yours.

Amelie Mauresmo:

Amelie does not come out hitting huge winners but she is flawlessly consistent and does play some great games on her serve. Her serve and volley style will keep you guessing and she is an extremely tough opponent. You have to be consistent against Amelie but at the same time aggressive; you have to be good to beat her.

Ai Sugiyama:

Ai does not have much to offer in terms of great tennis but her grit and determination make her a tough opponent. She is incredibly consistent and makes you work for everything but if you are aggressive enough you can beat her early on in a set. Be warned though, she does not tire.

Martina Hingis:

Martina is a very clever player; like Ai she is very consistent but with a little more aggression and variety. She returns extremely well and will make you work for the set. You have to serve very well and play consistently to defeat this thinker.

Elena Dementieva:

Elena often starts matches horribly. But she never, ever, ever gives up and often plays her best tennis from behind. You might well lead 5-0 but when all seems over Elena will just play incredible tennis and claw her way back into the match. You have to be careful and have a very strong end to your set.

Svetlana Kuznetsova:

Sveta will come out and simply look to blast you off the court 6-0 or 6-1 if she fails in that then she loses the match. Asset yourself early on.

Steffi Graf:

By far the best PC Player. Steffi is alltogether brilliant and the only player who will change up her game every now and again. She is both consistent and aggressive and is an extremely tough draw in a tournament. You just simply have to be on the top of your game to beat her.

*all PC Players will use 115 points per set regardless of the surface and will use the same system as human players in the second set, outline in the Rules and Sign-Up thread.
