Starting this year Wimbledon will be using seedings based on past results. Current rankings is considered too of course, but players' previous results at Wimbledon will be a factor in deciding the seedings.

Here are the official Wimbledon Season 3 Seedings:
[x] = Ranking

1. Vanessa Child [1]
2. Bizet [2]
3. John Edelstein [3]
4. Jennacourt [4]
5. Not_Even_Amateur [6]
6. Phobe [8]
7. Yodavitch [16]
8. Tricatrina [5]
9. PSALT [7]
10. Adelaide [15]
11. Ying-Chang [14]
12. Valkyrie [17]
13. dav6789 [10]
14. x.doublea [11]
15. J-man [9]
16. Stroganoff [13]

Remember these are based on your current ranking and your previous results at Wimbledon. There is no math involved, just judgement by the tournament directors.

RD16 isn't bad! You should will still be seeded for the RD16, nothing will change.

But, isn't it past two year rankings? I think I lost in the first round in Season I....

Still, I don't think you will fall 6 sports out of the top 16. if you are worried enter an event tommorow to try and bump your ranking up (Dave didn't defend his title so you might be able to get to the top 10, I don't know). also, if you do well, you have a better chance for a high seeding.

checked the rankings, you won't be able to pass Dave tommorow if you played. if you get a good showing though, it will look good for the "Wimbledon Tournament Director".

Yes. Remember how Hewitt was enraged that he was given 3 instead of 2 (Roddick was 2) before the draw was made? (I think in 2004).

It is ebased on every year, not just last year. Obviously the further away the year is the less heavily it is weighted on the seeding. But yes I will pos the Wimbledon seedings tonight, based on previous results and current rankings.
