Blake is out.

Youzhny got won 7-6(5), 6-3.

I'm hoping against my better judgement that Blake doesn't go into a tail spin after this...

Time will tell.

I am not liking this RR format. I do feel this is rather unfair to Blake, or anyone else that would be in his position. To make it through to the quarters he needed to Del Potro in straight sets, losing 5 games or less. Blake was AMAZING in that match. He truly was crushing Del Potro. Del Potro started having breathing issues in the second set however, he then retired down 1-6 1-3. Because he retired Blake won't go through. I find it rather unfair to lose an event simply because your opponent couldn't finish a match.

That is awful for Blake and that system absolutely has to be reviewed. He will get the points for winning but won't get the games? Del Potro should be awared the games he win; 2 and therefore Blake advances. Fact.

This is ludicrous. This should be a single reason as to why this RR formats are all rubbish. I can't believe they are doing it by games won! Just dumb. Blake's back in now, but that just shouldn't happen.
