Marcos Baghdatis continues being inconsistent. He lost to Juan Martin Del Potro (ARG) 6-2 5-7 6-0.
Since the final in Marseille, he lost in the 1st round for the 3rd straight event. He started the season 14-3 with a win in Zagreb and runner-up in Marseilles. and is now 14-7. Six of his seven losses are to lower ranked opponents.

One thing I can say is that he is having a good time Wink

It's really a pity. Similar to right after his run at AO where he didn't produce the results that every one expected of him.

He is definitely not committed. Last summer he was playing soccer in a soccer tournament.

He is talented. If he had the commitment of Federer or Nadal he would be in the top 10 easily.

Another incosistent non-commited but very talented player is Monfils...

Federer returns to winning, beating Sam Querrey 64 63 in just over an hour.

Simon (sp?) gave A-Rod a good challenge...all he needed to do was hold his nerve and he could have booted him from the tourney, but then again that applies to all of the top 50 or 100 when it comes to playing the top 10 or top 5 players.

Gasquet (sp?) continues to impress and perplex me...he needs to keep his focus on court alittle better...seems his only weakness lies between his ears, but that is just immaturity...perhaps in time.

Andy Murray didn't stomp about ranting and raving durring his match...thank God for small favors.

How is Djokovic(sp?) top 10 and guys like Murray and Gasquet are not?

Novak D has been playing really good tennis. Espically last week when Federer was out at Indian Wells (PLO). The draw really opened up for him

Djokovic has had the best results of the young guns other than Nadal. He deserves to be in the 10

Gasquet lost to Canas and now we have a Federer - Canas rematch! Oh yeah!!

I honestly don't think Canas can pull it off again. I think Federer will, surely, raise his level of play.

Did I make any spelling errors? Wink

On another note, Federer took 4 of the 7 awards open to singles players at the ATP Awards, which is no longer known as Stars for Stars.

Well there's not much you can spell wrong in "Federer returns to winning, beating Sam Querrey 64 63 in just over an hour." Razz

OMG, that's really, really surprising! To the same player, as well! I think Federer might have a seed of doubt growing....

you may be right. I watched the whole match, after changing channels to find it.

Federer was up 3-0 in the third too!
