So, I'm the next blogger for the season! Cant wait to get started, should be fun.

Since I had no tournament this week, I went back to my home in Canada for the week. On the flight home from India though, the Davenport US Champs were on the TV's of the plane, as it had satellite. It turned out to be another blockbuster match between Johnny E and Child again! I recently lost to Child at wimbledon, where she was eventual champ.

Since I am newer to the tour, I still have a lot of work and training to do before I can compete at a level of my tennis idol Dav6789, who is a great and very sportsmanlike player, and who won his opener at the Davenport tourney to Yodavitch! He just recently broke into the top 15 and I have big plans to be at that level soon!

I noticed my good friend xdoublea was free this week and we planned to hit together. We grew up playing together and we had a pretty intense Juniors rivalry, with him at #1 in the nation and me at #2. We also made an amazing run at the Team Cup event in the off-season, losing the finals rubber at 7-6 in the final doubles set! I think our knowledge of each-others games really paid off.

I have been working a lot on becoming a great mental thinker, like Leftys-rock. She has the best tennis mind on tour and I saw she recently won the Li title over Valkyrie. She seems to have been turning heads at the beginning of this summer hardcourt season.

Well, my first week blogging has been a pretty uneventful one! I better go, since I have a date with a special someone and I dont want to be late! Its hard to keep a relationship going with the busyness of the tour but I'm working on it.

My next tournament will be the baghdatis challenge in greece. I've never been there, but I find all the history there pretty boring. I know xdoublea loves that stuff so I'm pretty sure he'll be there too! See you tommorow!
