Thoughts on the Aussie Open so far

John Edelstein:
I was very impressed with PSALT and Jbors47 in their opening matches; its too bad they have to play so early on in the tournament. leftys_rock and Ying-Chang have also caught my attention and I think they will be making some more noise.

NEA-Agassi

John Edelstein:
Agassi2000 can make the upset, but tomorrow it will be Not_Even_Amateur who prevails. After shaking off some first round nerves I suspect he will be fine.

PSALT-Jbors

John Edelstein:
Definately the match of the tournament so far. I'll go with PSALT in three sets.

Yodavitch-Leftys

John Edelstein:
This will also be a tough one. It really all depends on Yodavitch. If he is playing well, he will win no matter what. If he is a little off though, he will not be able to just squeeze by leftys. She doesn't let you do that.

Q. You had a huge win over Doublea earlier today, do you think that was the best you have played in some time? Do you feel confident in your chances for a run here?

John Edelstein:
It was a good win over x.doublea and I think I played well. He is a very good player so I think it is a good sign for me. Who knows.
