He's defentily spooked. Most of these guys he's dropping sets he would have beaten in straight sets. It's going to be a tough French Open this year for him.

At the Grand Slams, Federer always seems to find his strange way of getting by... even when things don't bode well for him. We'll have to see....

Really. Good playing for them both this week. Does anyone know if it's offical that Hewitt is hiring Roche as head coach?

Both Federer and Nadal came back from a set down to meet in the final.

Nadal will win in straight sets. Federer has not impressed me for a long time now. Federer is also looking for his first title in two months.

2-6, 6-3, 7-5 win for Nadal. Hewitt pushed him good in the first and thrid set. Hewitt gives Nadal some trouble. If he could just hang with Nadal for that little bit longer.

Yes, Hewitt has the stanima and the will power to keep up with Nadal. Too bad his strokes are a bit outdated....

Eat your words! Wink

I predicted that Federer would win. A change is always a motivator.

How did you two know that Federer would win this? Laughing

I suppose it is logical that Nadal is very tired after winning and playing so much. I guess Federer losing early in Rome was a blessing in disguise for him for Hamburg. He just had more left in the tank.

Well I've been alot about Federer, How he's been the partying superstar, gaining weight, ect....well he did gain some weight, but today he looked much slimer

-at the begining of the 2nd set I thought that Federer had figured out how to win against Nadal...especially after the Hewitt semi-finals...

-The undercurrents going into Roland Garros have just become very interesting.....Has Roger cracked Nadal's code...and his confidence?

Roland Garros 2007 just got very interesting.

I still think Nadal will win Roland Garros. He's got a few days to rest up, and it's not like his confidence will plummet. His record on clay in the past few years is still 81-1....

But, I'm sure Federer will have gained some confidence because of this, and it definitely bodes well for him.

But, definitely, Roland Garros just got much more interesting.
