Season 3 of Fantasy Tennis will begin on Monday September 4th. This will be "Day 0" and you course you all know the rules: Get your tournament entries in by Sunday the 3rd. After such a long break I hope the Fantasy Tennis League is as exciting as ever!
I'd also like to say that several months ago I was contemplating not resuming Fantasy Tennis because it took up too much of my time, but thanks to everyone who has contributed to helping me with it I am continuing this staple part of our forum. Dav6789 writes wonderful news articles to keep everyone informed and interested in the league; J-man has set up an innovative blog system, completely independant; x.doublea and Not_Even_Amateur now conduct interviews which saves me a huge amount of time; leftys_rock now completely runs the Fantasy Pool all by herself (well done leftys) and if I had to do that plus the league I would probably die; and of course PSALT, who is my absolute backbone, deserves the most praise for all he does for me and the league. Thank you to these people and everyone who is a part of the forum for helping me keep this great place alive and well.
Now get ready for all sorts of previews and hype (*cough* dav6789, PSALT *cough*) about the new season of Fantasy Tennis! Start advertising! _________________ -Site Admin
I am glad that you didn't stop it Percy. We all are willing to help you if it gets too much for you.
The Season 2 wrap is out now (it took a while for me to go through everything and remember what actually happened!). I hope everything else can continue nicely (like the blogs, interviews etc.), and that we can come up with some more ideas. Lets make this season 3 the best so far. I hope we can get some more members part of it (like Tennis Fan, anyone else who is interested). I hope to make the news & interactives section better if I can get some spare time. I am looking forward to it!
Can't wait!! I will start off the blogs with NEA on Monday. Also Percy for us "oldies" do we only get one stat to train or multiple?? I'm not sure but I think you had some of us older members training one stat a day _________________

Preview is out, I'm not sure I like it. It is hard to preview a season, but I tried.
I liked it, it was very compact and to the point. I think it follows on from my wrap really well. They could almost be put into the same topic and nobody would notice the difference. I am really looking forward to FTL now. The off-court stuff is just as fun as the on-court stuff. It will be great!

yes, well we all know that if your groundstrokes are on you can beat anyone. that's what happens when your groundies are huge and your mental is relatively low. one day your losing a match after being up 6-2 in the final tiebreak, the next you are heartlessly pounding the same person into the dirt.
BTW, these are predictions based on games now. I do hold the rights to change predictions. Just look at Tricatrina, her luck is horrible in the claycourts of Paris so if she gets run over by a drunk Frenchman I will change my pick. _________________

But anyways, what day exactly can we start training? I am assuming the 3rd.
And also, part of my dream last night was me winning a ton in fantasy tennis. Honest to God. It was really weird. I kept winning tournaments and I beat Edelstein to win the US Open. I went completely undefeated that year. _________________ 05/06 Combined High School Record- 39-19

I always thought that my mental weakness would hold me back alot. Plus the fact that I'm not consistant with wins
