It's election time again!
Elections for the council begin tomorrow (Friday, December 8th). You may elect the same members you did last time and you can also re-elect current council members. Please read the original "Council Elections" announcement if you are new.

Polls close next Friday afternoon (December 15th).

There is a three-way tie in the council for one spot. I'm not sure how it should be decided. I don't think I made a rule for this situation...

EDIT: I have decided to have everyone vote again, this time only once, for one of the three ties.

The three candidates are N_E_A, dav6789, and leftys_rock.

Are the three candidates supposed to vote? Personally I don't think any of us should...

You don't have to. It's up to the individual.

Ok, so this is interesting. IT'S TIED. I really don't know what to do about this; I certainly can't vote (it would defeat the purpose). So if you have yet to vote in the tie-break, please do so.

For a start I think any of the candidates who voted votes should be removed. Then it might not be tied! Being allowed to vote for 1/3 when one of those is yourself is rather silly.

Or, alternatively, if the vote is tied between two not three then the one with the lowest can be removed and have a revote between the two that are tied.

This is all getting rather tedious now.

Other than that my solution is thus:

dav and I have both been on the council, let leftys have a turn.
