. Well, a reluctant congratulations for Serena... I'm still a bit bitter from her behaviour last year, but she did what she had to do here. This is a really 'in your face' moment for Serena to everyone who criticizes her....

I'm am very happy for Serena. Thrashing Sharapova 6-1 6-2. I hope very much that she stay's committed to the sport throughout the year and for many years to come. She never let Sharapova in the match. You kind of had a feeling when Serena was up 2-0 in the first set that Serana is for real and could win this. And she did! Very Happy

When she comes to play no one can stop her. The rest of the field will be very worried come Wimbledon. BTW, congrats to Paco on picking the Miss. Willams to win AO Very Happy

well...... I promised Leftys I wouldn't rub it in, I have to say it once. I had said Serena would win in straights. not this easily, but still straights. I was right. Wink

for Paco. he was the one who predicted her to win this whole thing. I think most of us laughed at him when we saw he did. whether or not he seriously thought she would win is another question though. Wink
